On Iona's 18th birthday, her Uncle Butch handed her a wadded up handful of bills (her inheritance), the keys to one of the old beat up trucks in the front yard and told her to "Take a hike!"  Iona drove and drove until her truck, quite literally ran out of gas, in the middle of a very STRANGE town!  Thinking that this is a good a place as any, she's decided to stay!
